All of my friends already have roommates. They have their people, and in reality I don’t fit in with my friends.
These are people who are smart, they are really book smart and most of them are street smart. They are from all over, Chicago, Iowa City, Milwaukee. There is a big group of us, but I don’t really fit into this group;
I try so hard to fit in with them, I try my best to relate and to this post has gone so many ways. It has gone from me wanting to find roommates, to me realizing how alone I am.
I just don’t belong to a group here, send me back overseas to the people who I can relate to and who care for me most. Back to my people.
Ope. I just got a message back from one of the girls who I am kinda friends with. I sent the very nice, “Heyyyy looking for roommates” text. Yikes.
